Are these habits destroying your motivation?

We all have habits in doing things, but some of them may stopping you from achieving your full potential and the goals you wish to accomplish, and the most astonishing thing is that all those habits do that in one simple way, just by destroying your motivation.

According to experts here are the most common behaviours that are destroying your motivation, and stopping you from achieving your dreams!

  1. Insisting on perfection
If you insist to do everything perfectly, you will never feel that you are good enough and overtime you may lose your sight of accomplishment. So, try to do things the best you can, and give up on trying to do everything perfectly.
  2. Failing to set precise goals
Lack of concrete goals can discourage you from doing productive work.  Before you start anything, you must decide what you want. Clear goals give your life purpose and motivation. If you don’t give yourself goals to aim for you will lack purpose and direction for anything you may have wanted to accomplish.
  • Being Indecisive
If you are afraid to make a decision, you will never get anywhere as you dare not fail. The best is to set a deadline for making decisions depending on the importance of the work. The truth is you may need some practice to become more decisive, but the most important thing is to never give up.
  1. Not believing in yourself
Most people have the motivation to take action in the beginning stage of work. But later insecurity can become an obstacle when you don’t really believe in yourself. That makes you to easily get discouraged and have a bigger chance to quit. To overcome this obstacle, regardless of what you are planning to do you must consider yourself capable in achieving anything.
  2. Not getting enough rest
Without enough sleep, and rest, we may get so tired that sooner or later we lose the ability to focus on the task at hand and finally end up losing our motivation.
  3. Letting temporary feelings get in your way
Temporary feelings, short term emotions can often stop your overall progress. So it is necessary to take the small steps and get things done, always making an conscious effort to keep your motivation going.
